Living HeartFULLY: Reclaiming Joy After Unexpected Childlessness is a 90-minute healing space for women and assigned female at birth (AFAB) individuals who have reached the end of their fertility journey and are learning how to live in the “after.”
I created this space as a compassionate, grief-informed offering to honour the loss of the life once imagined, while gently exploring identity, meaning, and moments of joy beyond parenthood. Together, we slow down, tend to the nervous system, and create room for reflection, without pressure to move on, feel grateful, or “find the silver lining.”
In this space, we:
Ground and regulate the nervous system to create safety and presence.
Honour the losses and dreams that were altered or unfulfilled.
Explore grief, triggers, and practical ways to care for yourself.
Reflect on identity, values, and meaning beyond parenthood.
Invite moments of joy, comfort, and connection alongside grief.
Integrate reflections and intentions through gentle rituals and practices.
I bring both my professional experience as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and my own lived experience of unexpected childlessness to guide this space with care, respect, and sensitivity.
Sharing is always optional. There is nothing to fix, decide, or resolve. This space exists to support you in reclaiming a sense of self, connection, and possibility, at your own pace.
You can learn more about my story and reflections on this path on the Butterfly Support Network blog.
